The Parkes Racing Pigeon Club was first established in 1957, with the very first race being conducted in 1958. Currently there are 9 members and four life members. The Club is currently headed by Ron Hunt, pictured above with (Left to Right), Grant Patterson (Canberra) and Brian Crowe (Parkes), presenting Brian with Life Membership to the club in 2008.
